     Why Custom Furniture Fits Singapore Homes

That matters for furniture because most HDB layouts — especially 3- and 4-room BTO units — were designed for efficiency, not for off-the-shelf wardrobes and TV consoles.      The HDB factor: compact layouts and fixed dimensions
     New 4-room flats sit around 90 sqm. Bedrooms are small, ceilings are typically 2.6–2.8m, and the master bedroom often shares a wall with the bomb shelter. A free-standing wardrobe rarely uses the full wall width or reaches the ceiling, which wastes the most valuable storage zone in a compact home. Custom carpentry solves that by running floor to ceiling and wall to wall.

     Working around bomb shelters, service yards and odd corners
     Every HDB flat has a reinforced bomb shelter (the "storeroom" you didn't ask for). Its door is fixed, the walls can't be hacked, and the recess beside it usually has an odd depth. Custom joinery can dress the shelter door to match the surrounding cabinets so it disappears, and turn the dead corner into pull-out pantry space. Service yards, air-con ledges and the distribution board (DB) box create similar constraints that ready furniture can't accommodate.
     How the Ordering Process Actually Works

     Step 1 — Initial Budgeting/Quotation
     Upon receiving the dimensions, pictures, or floor plans from the customer, we will provide an initial online quotation based on the information provided. Please note that this quotation is subject to change once on-site measurements are completed.    
      Step 2 —On-site Measurement
      A professional site technician will be scheduled for on-site measurements. The customer agrees to cooperate and provide access to the site as required for the technician to perform accurate measurements.Limited Time Benefit:A deposit of 300 SGD may be used to offset 600 SGD of the final payment, as part of a limited-time promotional offer.
     Step 3 — Design and Drafting
     Once on-site measurements are completed, our designers will create detailed floor layout plans and an initial quotation. We will schedule an appointment for you to visit our store to review the plans and discuss any further adjustments.The estimated time for the floor plan to be drawn is 2 to 3 days.
     Step 4 — In-store Contract Signing
     At our store, you will have the opportunity to view samples, select colors, discuss design plans, confirm the quotation, and finalize the contract. After signing the contract and paying a 10% deposit, we will proceed with 3D rendering and detailed drawings.The estimated time for the 3D drawing to be completed is 7 days.
     Step 5 — Order Production
     Once the 3D designs are confirmed by the customer, the final pricing will be provided based on the 3D rendering and approved sketches. A 50% down payment of the final pricing will be required to begin the production process.Production Timeline:The production cycle generally takes 35 to 45 days. Please note that design modifications cannot be made once the order is placed. The customer acknowledges and accepts this term.
     Step 6 — Delivery and Installation
     Upon completion of production, mock-up pictures will be sent to the customer for confirmation. Following confirmation, delivery to the designated site will be arranged. A 35% payment of the final pricing will be required before delivery.Once the goods are delivered to the site, installation will proceed. The final 5% balance is due upon completion of the installation.
     Step 7 — Warranty and Maintenance
     All furniture comes with a lifetime maintenance warranty, which includes free on-site installation and repair services for one year from the date of installation.This warranty covers detects in materials or workmanship but excludes damage due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
     Common Mistakes Singapore Homeowners Make
     ▪Paying 100% or a fat 70% deposit up front. 
     ▪Choosing high-gloss white laminate everywhere. It shows every fingerprint, scratch and dust in a way matt finishes don't.
     ▪Forgetting ventilation. Sealed wardrobes in our climate grow mould; ask for louvre panels or a gap at the back.
     ▪Ignoring the carcass material. MDF swells permanently if a washing machine or air-con leaks onto it; plywood copes better.
     ▪Skipping the 3D drawing and approving from memory, then disputing the result.
